Peru was the main supplier of blueberries to Thailand in 2024

(Agraria.pe) In the first half of 2025, trade between Peru and Thailand reached US$ 394.8 million, showing a growth of 30.5% compared to the same period of the previous year. This was indicated by the Foreign Trade Society of Peru (Comex Peru) which detailed that in the first half of this year, Peruvian exports to Thailand totaled US$ 47.3 million, registering a contraction of -30% compared to the same period of 2024 (US$ 110 million). This drop is explained by the poor performance of traditional exports (-79.3%), mainly due to lower shipments of mining products such as zinc and molybdenum. However, non-traditional exports, specifically from the fishing (+56.5%) and agricultural (+13.8%) sectors, stood out for their growth.
