According to the Peruvian Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation, the export value of Peruvian fruits and vegetables in the first half of 2023 is projected to be US$3.91 billion, a 6.2% increase compared to the same period in 2022. Fruits will account for 54.2% of total fruit and vegetable exports, with fresh table grapes, avocados, mangoes, and cranberries being the main export fruits. The top three export destinations are the United States, the Netherlands, and Spain, with China ranking sixth. Some provinces, such as Cash, La Libertad, Ica, and Apurímac, have seen significant increases in avocado, mango, cranberry, table grape, and kiwifruit exports.
