Peru's fruit exports exceeded US$2.1 billion in the first half of the year, with grapes and avocados leading the way

According to the report of the Peruvian Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (Midagri), the export value of Peruvian fruits and vegetables in the first half of 2023 will be US$3.91 billion, an increase of 6.2% from the US$3.68 billion in the same period of 2022. Among them, the export value of fruits will reach US$2.12 billion, an increase of 11.6% year-on-year , accounting for 54.2% of the total fruit and vegetable exports.
