Piura: Promoting productive diversification in Cruz de Motupe

The Family Farming Public Investment Project, executed by the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Piura, held a sensitization workshop on productive diversification for the benefit of the members of the Association of Small Agricultural Producers "Sienegal", located in the hamlet of Cruz de Motupe – Almendro Bajo, in the district of Paimas. During the activity, the participants agreed to implement a lime fruit nursery and establish a demonstration plot of brown bean, actions that will contribute to local productive development and strengthen the food security of the population. The project specialists presented the four components of the Family Farming PIP, aimed at improving the support service for the productive development of agricultural families.
