Prime minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday visited the grave of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani in Santosh of Tangail. Tarique Rahman went to the grave premises at about 5:00pm, said his additional press secretary Atikur Rahman Rumon. He said that the prime minister offered Fateha and a munajat there, seeking the salvation of the great leader’s departed soul. Liberation war affairs minister Ahmed Azam Khan, state minister for fisheries and livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku and lawmaker Abdus Salam Pintu, among others, were present.
