Poland is a leading producer of various vegetables in the EU, including cabbage, beetroots, cucumbers, potatoes, carrots, and cauliflower, accounting for about 11% of the commercial value of agricultural production. The country's vegetable production is diversified, with cabbage, carrots, and onions having the largest share in the domestic harvest. The main recipients of Polish vegetables are EU countries, as well as Ukraine and Belarus. From 2015 to 2020, the production of field vegetables in Poland ranged from 3.8 to 4.6 million tonnes.
