Bolivian pork producers are calling for the release of soy imports to maintain the country's pork supply. The Departmental Association of Pork Farmers (Adepor) states that pig, poultry, and milk producers are short of 7,000 tons of soybeans each month. The poultry industry is also suffering, with daily losses of around 4 million bolivianos and an anticipated increase in chicken prices, according to the Departmental Association of Poultry Farmers of Cochabamba.
