In the third week of March 2023, Brazil's pork exports, as reported by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), saw a significant increase compared to the same period last year. The country earned US$ 143.006 million from these exports, marking a 38.9% increase from March 2022. The total pork volume exported amounted to 59,285 thousand tons, a 23.4% increase year-on-year, with a daily average of 4,560 tons. Furthermore, the average price of pork increased by 12.5% from the previous year to US$ 2,412.20 per ton, demonstrating a strong performance in the global pork market.
