The average price of pork in São Paulo's retail outlets in September was R$23.28 per kg, marking a 1.6% decrease from August and a 17% increase year-on-year, as reported by the Agricultural Economics Institute. Despite a slight increase in the participation index of live products in retail trade, there was a 12% loss compared to the same period last year. The ratio of live products in retail trade to total trade fell from 40.7% last year to 37.8% this year, showing a decrease of nearly 3 percentage points in the first nine months of this year.
