Portuguese wine exports hit a record high of 941 million euros in 2022, marking a 1.52% increase from the previous year, as per ViniPortugal. The European Union accounted for 427 million euros of the total export value, while third countries contributed 499 million euros. France, the United States, and the United Kingdom were the leading importers. The Angolan market saw the largest growth at 103.6%, followed by Mexico and Japan. The president of ViniPortugal aims to reach one billion euros in exports this year by increasing the average price.
