Portuguese wine exports reach 210 million euros in the 1st quarter of the year

In the 1st quarter of 2023, total exports of Portuguese wines reached 210.1 million euros and an average price of 2.85€/litre. During these three months and compared to the same period last year, there was a decrease in value (0.95%) and volume (3.28%), but there was an increase in the average price of 2. 41%. Regarding the markets that stood out the most in terms of exports, in terms of Value (Euros), the United States of America (25M€) remain in the lead, with France (23.8M€) in second place and Brazil (15M€) in third. With regard to Volume (Liters), Angola (9 Million Liters) stands out, followed by France (7.9 Million Liters) and the United States of America (5.8 Million Liters). In terms of average price, in the first quarter of 2023 and compared to the same period last year, Angola is the market with the best performance, with an increase of 12.83%.
