Netherlands: Potato exports are declining slightly, but still at a high level

Of those 97,054 tons, 52,642 tons again left a large part of the Dutch consumer and industrial potatoes for Belgium. The total export this season, which started in July 2022, now stands at 855,497 tonnes. That is considerably more than the 629,681 tonnes in the previous season, the NAO figures show. In the European Union (EU), France is also asking for more Dutch potatoes. Just like in April, a volume of more than 12,000 tons was shipped in May. Until now, the Netherlands has exported about 65,000 tons to France this season, 25,000 tons more than last season. Export Germany Germany ranks third in terms of sales volume in the EU.
