A women's cooperative in Gaziantep, Turkey, is producing moringa plants, which are native to India, and processing them into various products such as tea, shampoo, diaper rash cream, hand sanitizer, and soap. The products are marketed under the brand 'Moringantep' and are sold all over Turkey. The cooperative, which has employed around 30-40 women, is applying EU organic farming production principles and is the first production site for moringa in Turkey. The cooperative is planning to present some of their products to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
