Prices for peach and nectarine in Uzbekistan continue to fall rapidly

This season, the first large batches of peach and nectarine appeared on the wholesale markets of the capital of Uzbekistan in late May - early June, and a steady downward trend immediately formed in the dynamics of wholesale prices for these products. And over the past three weeks, there has been a rapid decline in prices for peach and nectarine. Almost a month after the appearance of the first batches of these products on the wholesale markets, their prices have fallen by 2.5 times, EastFruit analysts say. According to EastFruit price monitoring, from June 2 to June 30, 2023, the average wholesale price for peach and nectarine in Uzbekistan decreased from 27,000 to 11,000 sum/kg (from $2.37 to $0.95), i.e. 2.5 times in almost one month.
