Prices have gone down: which vegetables and berries have become the cheapest

Last week in Ukraine, a decrease in prices for most vegetables and some berries was recorded. The main reason was the increase in supply amid active harvesting of produce. The Ukrainian market continues to be dominated by the trend of lowering prices for vegetables, reports EastFruit. The most significant price drops were seen for onions (from 6–8 to 6–7 hryvnias per kilogram) and table beets (from 7–10 to 6–9 hryvnias per kilogram), and after a short period of stability, white cabbage (from 8–10 to 6–9 hryvnias per kilogram) began to drop in price again. A significant increase in the volumes of greenhouse produce also affected prices. In particular, cucumbers continued to become cheaper due to the expansion of supply from local producers (from 140–220 to 130–200 hryvnias per kilogram).
