Since the beginning of 2026, consumer prices in Kyrgyzstan have increased by 3.3 percent compared to December 2025. Year-on-year inflation reached 11 percent, according to the National Statistical Committee. According to its data, since the beginning of the year, the most significant price increases were in: tariffs for services to the population—by 5.3 percent; food and non-alcoholic beverages—by 4.3 percent; alcoholic beverages and tobacco products—by 3.1 percent; non-food items—by 0.5 percent. In addition, pasteurized milk increased by 9.9 percent, fresh fruits by 7.7 percent, beef by 5.3 percent, and lamb by 5.1 percent.
