The article reports on the current prices of rapeseed, meal, and oil in Poland, as monitored by the Ministry of Agriculture. Between the weeks of January 16 and 23, 2022, there was a noticeable trend in the market. Rapeseed prices saw a slight decrease of 0.8% from the previous week, reaching PLN 3,379 per ton, but significantly increased by 82.2% compared to the same period last year. Refined rapeseed oil prices also increased by 3.1% compared to the previous week, now at PLN 6,372 per ton, showing an annual growth of 64.5%. On the other hand, the sales rates of rapeseed meal experienced a decrease of 3.6% to PLN 1,290 per ton, but still mark a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
