Indonesia's processed potatoes of the Medians variety successfully enter the American and Chinese markets

My Farm — Some time ago three new high yielding industrial potato varieties were launched. The three varieties are Medians, Golden Agrihorti, and Ventury Agrihorti. The launch was carried out at the Industrial Potato Technology Degree event at the Vegetable Crops Research Institute, Lembang. Currently, processed products from the Medians variety have successfully penetrated the international market, namely the American and Chinese markets. Medians variety potatoes are processed into potato chips by partners of the Agricultural Research and Development Agency (Balitbangtan). The processed product commodity has been officially released by the Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, for export to America and China, worth Rp. 2.8 billion.
