The Ñuble Region experienced a contraction in its meat production during the last month of 2025, according to official figures from the National Institute of Statistics (INE). The report reveals a significant drop in total beef production, contrasting with an increase in the benefit of pork. This figure positions Ñuble as the fourth largest beef-producing region in the country, with a 7.9% share of the national total. The benefit of cattle (slaughtered animals) was 5,653 heads, 4.4% less than in December 2024. The main categories that contributed to production were steers (44.7%) and heifers (31.2%).
