With the aim of improving the competitiveness of producers, facilitating their access to new markets, and promoting inclusive spaces for the active participation of highland Andean communities, the National Forestry and Wildlife Service (Serfor) is participating in the "From Our Hands" 2025 fair, which will take place until August 3 at the Kennedy Park in Miraflores, Lima. Admission is free. During this fair, representatives from artisan associations in Cusco, Ayacucho, Arequipa, and Lima exhibit ancestral techniques in working with vicuña fiber applied to fine textiles such as shawls, ponchos, blankets, hats, and scarves, among others. The exhibition allows for the revaluation of the cultural identity of their peoples and the dynamization of their local economies.
