The prize worth up to 300 thousand euros translates into a research collaboration contract with the Roullier Group, which aims to accelerate the transition from the laboratory to practice. Coordinated by José Prates, from the University of Lisbon, SEA4FEED aims to optimize the cultivation conditions of microalgae rich in pigments, in order to confirm the antioxidant and immunomodulatory potential, bringing benefits for the growth, health, and quality of products from poultry trials.
