The representative brand 'Fork Valley' pork from Pukyong Pig Farmers Cooperative (Chairman Lee Jae-sik) won the 'Luxury Certification Award' at the '2025 Livestock Product Brand Competition' hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and organized by the Nonghyup Economic Holdings on the 18th. With this award, 'Fork Valley' pork will receive an interest-free incentive fund of 800 million won. The certification is valid for two years, from January 2026 to December 2027. The 'Livestock Product Brand Competition' has been held annually since 2003 to discover and nurture excellent management entities that lead the enhancement of quality and differentiation of Korean livestock products. This year's competition included 13 locations in the Hanwoo sector and 10 locations in the pork sector.
