In the first quarter of 2024, Iran's export of fresh fruits to India has seen a significant increase of 100% in value compared to the same period in the previous year, as reported by the Indian Ministry of Trade and Commerce. Despite this, Iran's rice imports from India experienced a 20% decrease during the same timeframe. The total trade value between Iran and India for the first quarter of 2024 was $520 million, marking a 2% increase from the same period in the previous year. Indian exports to Iran saw an 11% increase, reaching $356 million, while Iran's exports to India experienced a 12% decrease, totaling $164 million.
