During the period under review, the total domestic movement of corn by rail in the Russian Federation amounted to 44.7%, the share of export 55.1%, import 0.0%, and transit 0.1%. The ratio of intra-regional to inter-regional transportation (macro-regions - federal districts act as regions) amounted to 20.7%, for the previous period 26.0%. The volume of domestic transportation in Russia amounted to 111.7% of the volume of the previous period. The maximum railway shipments of corn, including domestic ones, were made by the Volga Federal District for the specified period - 25.28 thousand MT (36.7% of all shipments in the Russian Federation). The maximum export was made by the Central Federal District in the amount of 55.90 thousand MT (65.9% of the total export).
