Record fruit and vegetable prices in Turkey

The prices of vegetables and fruit have increased both in Poland and around the world. The inhabitants of Turkey pay the most for them. Picodi.com analysts have compiled a ranking for 94 countries around the world that shows how the prices of the most popular fruit and vegetables have grown over the last 6 months. Turkey topped the ranking with an increase of over 70%. Poland, on the other hand, recorded an increase of 2.2%. The list includes the prices of potatoes, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, oranges, bananas and apples. Of the 94 countries included in this ranking, the prices of these products were the most expensive in Turkey. During the seven months of this year, these fruits and vegetables rose by 72.2% in this country. The price of tomatoes was the most expensive (by 121%). Right behind Turkey, the highest prices of fruit and vegetables are recorded by Belarus and Russia (33.4% and 27.4%).
