Reiterates information

In response to inquiries that have reached the Undersecretary of Fisheries and Aquaculture from various artisanal fishing organizations regarding the possibility of directly managing the purchase of international horse mackerel quotas, Subpesca informs that indeed these types of organizations are authorized to carry out this type of operations exempt from the payment of patent and can make direct contact with third countries for such purposes. The above, in accordance with article 6 of Law No. 21,752 that establishes the Division between the artisanal and industrial fishing sector.
