Of the top 10 countries where Ukraine exports walnuts, sales to Turkey decreased the most - by 77% in terms of kernel volume and 69% in terms of unshelled walnuts. This is due to the tariff on imports of walnuts (both in shell and without), which Turkey has increased since December 31, 2020, to 15% for all countries of origin, with the exception of countries where a free trade agreement with Turkey is in force.
