Japan has successfully resumed exports of poultry products from prefectures not affected by the highly pathogenic avian influenza, following approval from key exporting countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States, Vietnam, and Macau. Additionally, an agreement with Hong Kong has enabled the resumption of exports from prefectures previously affected, such as Shimane, Niigata, and Kagawa, once they were declared free from the influenza. These developments have allowed Japan to continue exporting poultry-derived products, marking a significant recovery after the temporary suspensions due to the outbreak.
