Brazil's rice exports in April doubled compared to the same month last year, reaching 140,200 tons and generating $47 million in revenue. Processed rice exports also saw an improvement, with 22,400 tons exported and revenue of $10 million. However, overall rice exports in the first quarter were 1.80% lower than the same period in 2022. On the other hand, rice imports in April were 35.40% lower than the previous year, but higher than Q1 2022, with spending totaling $156.9 million.
