Russia: Rosrybolovstvo expects to expand the list of fish for preferential transportation by the end of the year

INTERFAX.RU - Rosrybolovstvo expects that by the end of 2023 the government will make a decision on expanding the list of fish, the transportation of which from the Far East by rail will be subsidized. “We came up with an initiative at the government commission on issues of the fishery complex: in addition to pollock (transportation of which is at a preferential rate - IF), to subsidize the transportation of socially significant types of fish products - pink salmon, herring and mackerel, to additionally include these items. I think that by the end of the year the corresponding decision will be made at the government level,” said Deputy Head of Rosrybolovstvo Khasan Likhov at the WEF.
