Last week, Ukrainian traders sold at least two consignments of wheat with 11.5% protein to Egypt at prices of $245-250 per ton C&F with recent delivery to the Mediterranean ports of the Arab country, reported the online edition UkrAgroConsult, citing rumors on the local grain market. This week, the offer prices for Ukrainian-produced wheat to Egyptian buyers remain at levels of $246-247 per ton C&F. According to traders, the interest of importers in Egypt is sustained by the competitive prices of Ukrainian grain and the reliability of deliveries in the Mediterranean region. However, they also report recent sales in Egypt of several consignments of wheat produced in France, which will be sent in February and March, including via the port of Dunkirk.
