Sergey Dankvert answered questions about the supply of grain products to foreign markets. The forum participants were interested in the prospects for the development of export relations with China, Vietnam and Indonesia. Sergey Dankvert noted that at the end of 2020, China entered the TOP-10 countries-importers of Russian grain - 1.9 million tons were sent to the country. For 10 months of 2021, this figure amounted to 1.8 million tons. Now the department is working on the issue of expanding the list of Russian regions from which it is possible to export wheat and barley to the PRC, and is also coordinating the supply of new grain crops. With regard to Vietnam and Indonesia, it was emphasized that these countries have very serious requirements for the phytosanitary condition of imported grain.
