Rosselkhoznadzor announced the expansion of the list of Russian pea producers and keepers who have the right to supply to China The Main Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China approved the lists of Russian companies planning to ship peas to China, the official website of the department reports. In total, today 279 pea producers and keepers from Russia have the right to supply these products. These enterprises were previously inspected by the Rosselkhoznadzor for compliance with Chinese phytosanitary requirements and recommended for export shipments. Shipment to the People's Republic of China became possible due to the signing with the Chinese side on October 10, 2022 of a protocol on phytosanitary requirements for peas exported from the Russian Federation to China. Today, Russia ranks second in the production of peas in the world after Canada.
