In terms of physical quantity, exports in the first eight months increased from 317 tons to 381.2 tons.
Russia is the third-largest source country for China's honey market. This year, the largest exporter of honey to China is New Zealand (826.1 tons), followed by Australia (528 tons). The top five also include Thailand (201.9 tons) and Kyrgyzstan (82.7 tons).
From the beginning of this year until now, China has imported a total of 2,200 tons of honey, valued at 28.2 million U.S. dollars, with the import volume and total value both decreasing by approximately 5% and 8%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
