The Far East Basin's catch was 3,601,700 tons, with an increase in Alaska pollock and Pacific herring from 2023. The Northern Basin's catch was 427,300 tons, also with increases in cod and Pacific herring from 2023. The Western Basin's catch was 71,200 tons, and the Azov Black Sea Basin's catch was 32,400 tons, with an increase in anchovies from 2023. The Volga Caspian Sea Basin's catch was 73,300 tons, with herring and common fish species making up a significant portion.
