Paraguayan farmers have harvested around 90% of their 2023/24 safrinha corn with 43% of the production sold, marking the lowest output in four years at an estimated 3.64 million tons. Our article, featuring StoneX's insights, outlines the distribution of this production, with 49% intended for domestic consumption and the rest primarily exported through Argentine and Uruguayan ports, also finding its way to southern Brazil. The allocation of agricultural land for safrinha corn and soybeans depends on the timing of the initial soybean crop planting, with StoneX predicting a rise in Paraguay’s 2024/25 corn production to 4.71 million tons.
