The salmon harvest at Çamlıgöze Dam in Sivas has commenced, with the fish being transported live to Elazığ for processing before export to Russia. Since its inception in 2011, the farm has an annual capacity of 4,250 tons, significantly boosting the local and national economy. Turkish salmon, now a recognized brand competing with Norwegian salmon, is exported to Russia, Japan, and America. The sector is expanding in Turkey, with exports projected to surpass 2 billion dollars, while also fostering local employment and technological advancements.
