San Martín: IIAP donated 450 kilos of fish to strengthen food security

The Peruvian Amazon Research Institute (IIAP) held a solidarity event in Tarapoto with the delivery of 450 kilos of fish meat from the species paco and gamitana to social support and community service organizations in the San Martín region. The beneficiaries include popular dining halls, food support programs, a child welfare organization, and the General Fire Brigade of Tarapoto. The activity took place at the institutional premises of the IIAP in Morales and was led by the director of the San Martín branch, Ángel Alejandro Salazar Vega, and the director of the AQUAREC program, Miriam Adriana Alván Aguilar.
