Due to the suspension of fish product imports from Russia to China due to the detection of the coronavirus genome, Seaside fishermen have redirected pollock exports to Europe. Since the beginning of the fishing season, about 80 thousand tons of pollock have been caught, with 15% of the quota utilized. Currently, 25 regional fishing companies are catching fish, and to store the catch, coastal companies are building up warehouses and ports are increasing their refrigeration capacity.
