The article highlights two projects, the Project for the Development of Viticulture in the GAP Region and the Project for the Development and Dissemination of Hard-Shelled Fruits in Diyarbakır Province, aimed at supporting farmers in Diyarbakır, Turkey. The initiatives, led by the Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, Mustafa Ertan Atalar, with support from various partnerships, aim to boost agricultural production and economic development. The Viticulture Development Project includes the distribution of equipment to 120 farmers and has a total financial value of 258.7 million TL for 2024. The Hard-Shelled Fruit Cultivation Development Project, funded by the Ministry, GAP Regional Development Administration, and Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, focuses on creating hard-shelled fruit gardens for 1,645 growers from 2021 to 2024, with total support of 14.86 million TL.
