Brazil: Senar's ATeG for agribusiness increases goat milk production in MG

Brasília (08/09/2021) – The Technical and Managerial Assistance of the National Service for Rural Learning (SENAR) has increasingly shown positive results for small and medium agribusinesses in Brazil. At Rancho Chaparral, in Minas Gerais, for example, where goats are the protagonists, ATeG's service provided a leap in productivity, in addition to improving the control of income and expenses. “Before ATeG, we could not process all the milk we took on capril in the dairy, having to sell it to other dairy products. With this service, we are managing to increase the sale of cheese and capture all the milk,” said rural producer Marina Monteiro Netto. The rural activity of the ranch, located in the municipality of Santo Antônio do Aventureiro, in the Zona da Mata Mineira, began with Marina's grandparents.
