In the leading market group, China & Hong Kong continued to lead with export value in September reaching 53 million USD, accounting for 29% of total exports in September, an increase of 11% compared to the same period in 2024. The export value of catfish to the US in September 2025 reached 23 million USD, down 23% from the same period last year, but this market still accounted for 13% of total exports in September. In the EU region, the export value in September reached 14 million USD, down slightly by 1% compared to the same period last year. The situation in the region was divided: while traditional markets like Germany saw a sharp decline of nearly 23%, Belgium saw an impressive growth of 67% (compared to the same period in September 2024), becoming a bright spot that helped maintain the growth momentum in Europe.
