Serbia's blueberry plantations have expanded to 2,500 hectares, allowing for an annual harvest of 6,000 tons. Favorable weather conditions have led to a high yield this year. The main export markets are the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Poland, and Russia, but in 2021, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia also imported Serbian blueberries. The country plans to expand its export markets to include Scandinavian states, more of the Middle East, and Asia in 2022.
