[Livestock and Fisheries News=Reporters Park Hyun-ryul and Kim Shin-ji](Association) The Korea Native Chicken Association has concluded the "Native Chicken Practitioners' Specialized Disease Prevention Education" in preparation for the special disease prevention measures for livestock during the winter season, aiming for zero occurrences of avian influenza (AI) in native chicken farms and traditional markets. The native chicken practitioners' specialized disease prevention education, held by the Korea Native Chicken Association on the 4th at the Buyeo Women's Culture Center in Chungnam, was conducted with the sponsorship and cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Chungnam Province, Buyeo City Office, and (Association) Sharing Livestock Movement Headquarters, and was attended by around 80 people including poultry traders, poultry farm and distribution-related personnel from Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, and Yeongnam regions. The education session included Lee Byeong-yong from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' avian influenza prevention division.
