Sinan County has been implementing the "Agricultural By-products Safe Disposal Support Project" since January of this year to alleviate the inconvenience of farmers who face difficulties in disposing of agricultural by-products. So far, the county has provided shredding support for agricultural by-products such as pepper stems, perilla stems, and figs, covering 16.08 hectares for 46 farms. This has helped reduce fine dust emissions in the agricultural sector and provided significant assistance to farmers struggling with labor shortages. The purpose of this project is to safely dispose of agricultural by-products to reduce environmental pollution and prevent forest fires caused by careless incineration. Applications can be submitted to the agricultural team at the township office by the 15th of this month. However, applications will be accepted until the project quota is filled.
