South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation Launches Donation Match Program to Support Nebraska Wildfire Relief

Sioux Falls, SD – As devastating wildfires continue to impact parts of Nebraska, ranchers and their livestock are facing urgent challenges as flames destroy grazing land, feed supplies, and critical infrastructure. In response, the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation has launched a fundraising effort to support relief efforts and assist ranchers in the hardest-hit areas. The Foundation will match community donations up to a total of $10,000 to help cover the cost of fuel needed to transport critically needed hay from areas across South Dakota to Nebraska. In partnership with the Kingsbury County Cattlemen’s Association, the effort is helping coordinate the movement of hay to ranchers in the hardest-hit areas.
