"SovEcon" raised the forecast for wheat exports in the 2025/26 season

The analytical center "SovEcon" has raised its forecast for wheat exports from Russia in the 2025/26 season by 0.4 million tons, to 43.8 million tons, writes "Agroexpert" with reference to the center's review. The adjustment is due to a revision of the crop estimate: in October, analysts increased it by 0.6 million tons, to 87.8 million tons. The second reason is the growth in export activity, which may lead to record shipments in November. If last week "SovEcon" estimated Russia's wheat exports in October at 5.1 million tons, it has now raised the estimate to 5.4 million tons, which is close to the record 5.6 million tons shipped in the same month a year earlier. On average over five years, shipments in October were 4.5 million tons, and the center's analysts estimated September wheat exports at 4.8 million tons. "SovEcon" forecasts November exports at 4.2-4.7 million tons, which could be a new record for this month, with the previous maximum of 4.3 million tons recorded in 2022. ...
