As of October 21, the sowing of winter rapeseed in Ukraine is almost complete. 1.03 million hectares have been sown (92.4%). In total, 74% of the area has been sown with winter crops, specifically 4.8 million hectares. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. Sown areas: Winter wheat — 3.4 million hectares (72.1% of the forecast). The largest areas are in Dnipropetrovsk (372 thousand hectares) and Kirovohrad (321 thousand hectares) regions. Winter barley — 300.3 thousand hectares (52.1%). Leading in area are Mykolaiv (80 thousand hectares) and Dnipropetrovsk (32 thousand hectares) regions. Winter rye — 60.0 thousand hectares (86.5%).
