The procedure for exporting soybeans and rapeseed from Ukraine without paying the producer's duty is still unresolved, and for the export to be carried out, the customs requires producers to pay a 10% "guarantee payment to the customs" as a security, and after the export is carried out, it promises to return these funds within 30 days. To obtain a conclusion from the Chamber of Commerce, the producer must submit about 12 documents, and when determining the volumes of the producer's output, the Chamber of Commerce considers a maximum yield of no more than 3.5 t/ha. Such procedures discourage producers from exporting grain, and they are increasingly inclined to sell soybeans and rapeseed for hryvnia to processors. During the week, export prices for GMO soybeans remained at the level of $388–390/t or 16,800–17,000 UAH/t, and for non-GMO soybeans at the level of 18,000–18,200 UAH/t or $420–430/t with delivery to the Black Sea ports.
