The November report from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) indicated that the U.S. soybean crop is expected to reach 4.253 billion bushels in 2025/26, equivalent to 115.74 million tons, with an estimated productivity of 53 bushels per acre. In the previous report, the figures were 4.301 billion bushels (117.05 million tons) and 53.5 bushels, respectively. The market had expected a production of 4.265 billion bushels, or 116.07 million tons. The final soybean stocks were projected at 290 million bushels (7.89 million tons), below the 300 million from the previous report (8.16 million tons) and the market expectation of 292 million bushels (7.95 million tons).
