Turkey: Strawberries are getting ready for spring in Aydın

In Aydın, which is one of the most important strawberry production centers in Turkey, producers have started preparations for the strawberry season. In the Köşk district, rejuvenation works are carried out in order to ensure that the strawberry seedlings that meet the soil bear fruit faster, while the ripe strawberries are harvested. Producers who come to the field in the early hours of the morning are preparing the strawberries for spring, waiting for a productive year in the season. In addition to the drought experienced last year, the producers, who did not experience irrigation problems in their products due to the rains this year, are thought to have no yield loss per decare this season.
